Buying a home is an exciting and intimidating journey for anyone. This journey for me was especially thrilling as I have waited many years to be in a position to purchase my own home. For quite some time I was under the assumption I was unable to qualify for a mortgage on my own. The process of purchasing a home was very foreign to me being that I was a first time buyer. Shaun was encouraging and helpful to me in a number of ways throughout this process.
A long time acquaintance from Fernie, I knew that I could trust Shaun to help me through this process and as I assumed, I was not disappointed. In fact, I could not have been more fortunate to have him provide me with his services and he was able to do so from 150 km away (I live in Okotoks).
Shaun was trustworthy, friendly and willing to answer any of my questions at any time. He responded to me through email, phone and fax (even when he was on personal holidays) in order to assist me in receiving the mortgage that was best for me and my family.
Shaun went over and above what would be considered necessary in helping me obtain my mortgage.  He also provided me with information, purchase documents and recommended an excellent home inspector. Shaun also stayed in touch after the home purchase to ensure I was satisfied and to answer any questions I had. He has sent me a token of Thanks and a Christmas card. These personal touches show his dedication to both his customers and the profession. I will be grateful for years to come for his assistance in helping me with my first mortgage and home purchase.
